Roshan Digital Account is an initiative by the State Bank of Pakistan to facilitate Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRP) in opening a digital / online bank account with SBP designated banks to facilitates digital access to all conventional account services including funds transfer, Investment in Stocks, Investment in Real estate, bills and fee payments, and e-commerce.
Foundation Securities is one of the few TREC Holder of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to electronically link up CDC ( Investor Account and its Direct Settlement Service ) with its Digital Trading Solution and integrate it with all the Banks offering Roshan Digital Account. Foundation Securities also took lead in providing one-stop digital solution to Non Resident Pakistanis for the opening of their corresponding Stock Investment account. Stock Investment account through Shared KYC details are :
. Investor to give Permission to share the Bank KYC/CDD details and documents with CDC for onward sharing with TREC holders/ NCCPL.
. Select a TREC holder with whom he / she wishes to trade . Bank portal will show the list of TREC Holders connected with CDC. . Designated Bank will transmit all the details as mentioned in point (I) as well as Local Investor profile data and documents to CDC electronically for onward processing and sharing with TREC holders and NCCPL . Designated Bank will also intimate the same to Local Investor through email alert. . CDC/NCCPL will transmit the information and soft copies of documents to the respective brokerage house (as mentioned by the local investor initially, through API or other electronic mechanism) . Foundation Securities will perform their own due diligence and confirm to local Investor and CDC/NCCPL regarding the opening of trading account, along with the details of online trading portal as applicable. . Foundation Securities will open the account on the basis of the information forwarded by CDC/NCCPL and other relevant requirements applicable for capital market and respond back to Investor and CDC/NCCPL with the status. . Foundation Securities may take further confirmations from local Investor directly like confirmation on fee structure. | |||||||||
