Having experience spanning more than 27 years in equities related operations, Mr. Ahmad Zaidi Having served at different positions with international and local market names like; ABN AMRO Equities, W.I Carr Indosuez Securities and First Capital Securities.

He has been with the company since its inception and was working as Chief Operating Officer prior to becoming the CEO of Foundation Securities (Pvt) Ltd “FSL”.

Beginning from small cap company, Ahmad Zaidi led the growth of FSL to become PKR 1.0 Billion Company. He represented FSL at various corporate and regulatory forums and participates regularly at finance and management international conferences. He also serves as an advisor to private educational institutions and enjoys imparting corporate insight to aspiring students as a visiting faculty.

Mr. Siraj Kazi is one of the founder shareholders of Foundation Securities. Siraj brings to the table more than a decade of equities trading experience and knowledge of handling both retail and institutional clientele.

Mr. Siraj commenced his brokerage career as a trader at First Capital ABN AMRO Equities and largely focused on high net worth retail clientele. Later he went on to become the Head of execution of international sales orders. He was then associated with KASB for 5 years wherein his focus was essentially institutional and retail sales.

In his current capacity, Mr. Siraj is a key member of Foundation Securities equities broking team and is responsible for furthering the company’s equities operations.

• Abdul Rehman brings along rich experience in sell side equity research having served over 8 years in the Research function in various capacities.

• He writes regularly on Pakistan Economy & Strategy while also actively covering the Banking and Insurance sectors. He has also covered the Cements, Steels, OMC’s and Glass sectors in the past.

• Before joining FSL, he served in the capacity of Deputy Head of Research at BMA Capital and prior to that was associated with Alfalah CLSA Securities as a Senior Equity Analyst.

• He is an ACCA Member and a CFA Level III candidate.

Mr. Najeeb has over 14 years diverse professional experience in capital market..He is responsible for managing business activities of FOUNDATION EDGE which includes Product Development, Marketing and Operations.

• 20+ years of experience in finance, accounts and internal audit.
• He is a Gold Medalist from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan.
• Previously worked at Amir Silk Mills Pvt) Limited and East West Life Assurance Limited.
• Holds a degree of Bachelors in Commerce from Karachi University

Being Senior operations expert with over 17 years of experience, Faisal Aamir is responsible for managing Back-office Operations includes regulates operations, securing Compliance and Risk, improving performance using technology.

Mr. Mirza Adnan Baig is a senior technical professional with over 20 years of working experience. He worked with international broker Indosuez W.I. Carr Securities, which is a subsidiary of Credit Agricole Indosuez – the Global French Bank. He has expertise in IT strategy, infrastructure and development tasks. He has successfully implemented company’s technology solutions to support and meet a continuously evolving information system requirement of an organization.

Mr. Shahbaz Akbar is a highly qualified, certified and experienced professional. He is Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Professional from IFMP, Pakistan and also holds a Master’s degree in Economics. He has over 8 years’ experience in financial sector in compliance, Risk and Internal Audit. Prior to joining Foundation Securities, he was associated with IGI Securities Limited in Compliance & Risk Management. He has also worked with First Microfinance Bank Ltd, East West Insurance and Mazars M. F.& Co. (Chartered Accountants) in Audit department.
